As a teacher and coach for thirty-four years, I had a lot of wins in the classroom and sports arena. To say I was blessed is truly an understatement. However, within most of those years, I also volunteered as an FCA Huddle Coach- and THAT is where the most significant wins came from! Now, with encouragement from FCA Nebraska, I have submitted to the call the Lord has placed upon my heart and intend to get myself into the full-time ministry game as a member of Team FCA. I am absolutely thrilled to pull on the “jersey” and assist coaches in bringing their athletes to Christ!
Of course, I wouldn’t be where I am at this moment without the love and support of my co-coach and bride (yep, she is my high school sweetheart) of thirty-five years, Lori Ann. She and I, along with our two children, LOVE this organization for what they have done for us personally and professionally, and that passion is now being passed onto our five grandchildren as well. Then, when you take into account the many athletes we’ve witnessed first-hand being impacted by FCA, it leaves little doubt why I’m just begging to get on the field and get to work.
Please prayerfully consider getting me a spot in the game with your financial support. Jesus told His disciples, as well as He tells us, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Matthew 9:37) It’s the right time for us to make a big play for the Kingdom… are you IN?
